Darlington lets him try, half-curious to see if he'll manage where it seems everyone else has failed, wincing along with him at the protesting scrape of the chair against the floor. That this isn't a new occurrence is cold comfort and interesting information all at once, and he files it away--not like there isn't room for it in his head--before huffing a laugh and nodding.
