Ah, how I've been waiting for you to ask this.

Let's start with the map. Yes, he can find blueprints of the hotel if he rustles through all of the stuff around the receptionist. Most everything he finds in those drawers is more sticky notes or glitter pens or keys that are cut in very strange ways. But there are some blueprints! At first glance they seem accurate. At a closer inspection, they're just a bit.... off. The doors aren't in the right places. Labels don't make sense and some aren't real words. The further the blueprint is from reception, the less accurate it gets. The blueprint of the fourth floor is completely unintelligible.

The blueprints don't show the door. However, Darin's investigation will bear fruit. It is in the exact same spot, at the side of the lobby. If he breaks through the wall, there's a staircase. It's different than before: wooden and creaky and not very trustworthy. It's also oddly damp in there?

Down the flight of stairs, instead of just a concrete wall, is a door. This door is one of those medieval wooden doors that has iron bands across it and low spikes on those iron bars. It's very well secured and will be very, very difficult to get through.
