It can work for as long as it takes for Diluc to use up all his magic. It sounds like it would make sense that he's able to create a bubble of heat around himself that melts the snow that would be in that bubble. As long as he can stay alive, he could potentially make it until the reset this way. If you want to play it that way and he makes it to the reset, let us know!
