At first, the animals don't react to her at all. But after a few attempts to talk to them, the creatures will start to meet her eye and will say pleasantries and small talk like:

"Nice day, isn't it?"

"It's sandy down here!"

"Don't stray too far into the desert, you never know what's out there in the sand."
