The clearest difference is that that a wolf is much bulkier - less leg, more body - and larger overall than a coyote, though who knows if Wellstone coyotes are outsized. The thick fur coat certainly adds volume as well.

After a moment she makes a groaning hnnnnn, haaauu-aar noise in her throat and licks her muzzle. She should probably turn into a two-legger, but it's a bit of work and accidentally brushing against all these dead things has been taking it out of her. Regardless of the shape she takes, Daine sees well in the dark, it's just she's not used to having to notice and avoid every bone in a place with a lot of them.
