Game Size So, I would definitely enjoy the cap being a little bigger, but I see Elle's point too. I have a slightly different pitch for this round though! This would obviously have to be reassessed before the next cycle so it doesn't turn into just doubling every time, but...what if we just raised the cap enough for everyone to be able to use their one invite (if they choose)? We can't actually get more players than that anyway (unless you guys invite more I suppose!) and it would allow everyone to be able to use their invite with no pressure. idk how many players we have now but for the sake of example, if there are 15 of us? The cap becomes 30, so everyone who's been here has room to give an invite to someone, if they want to.
Again, obviously we can't reasonably do this every round, but it might be a good compromise for this one, and then if there's more demand we can reassess from there? The other downside is that it wouldn't leave room for april newbies to use their invites but if we run on the assumption that not all of the invites will be used there will still be room for april newbies to use their invite in may until we hit 30.
Game Mechanics What’s been your favorite event so far? Bonus: why? DOUBLES DOUBLES DOUBLES DOUBLES PLEASE I WANT MORE OF THESE LIL SHITS more seriously I'm always a sucker for Mirror shenanigans. Why have you put literally all the tropes I love in one place??? Runner up is mem share in the desert though I'm sorry I owe both of you tags on that. What a good way for them to get to know each other and themselves.
What event has been the hardest to play on or come up with ideas for? High noon, but honestly I think that's because I play a character who is extremely chill a lot of the time and doesn't have enough of his memories to be angry about a whole lot yet. Trying to come up with a reason for him to pick a fight with someone that felt organic enough was really tough so ultimately I skipped that part. alas, we never got to see Ryan spin that broom and smack himself in the face.....
How does the event structure feel (posting your own logs vs. a standard IC event post), event and mini-event mid-month? I like it more than I thought I was going to! I used to feel kind of eh about monthly catchalls but that's because prior to this all the games I've been in have been mid-big in side so it felt like, if no one saw my catch-all for the month the day I posted it, it wouldn't get tags. But it's really easy to just comb through all the logs for the month, because it's so small here. I like that there's also mingle opportunities at the mini-events, and that the bulletin board is a great shit-posting venue.
Anything else? How I feel every time I look at my inbox for this A+ game:
