Game Size Not super strong feelings, though I wouldn't want to go higher than 40. I also wonder if it might be worth upping the size gradually--say, up to 30 this cycle, and then, depending on how people are feeling, up to 35 next cycle, etc. That way we can gauge our comfort and the vibes as we grow.
Game Mechanics What’s been your favorite event so far? Bonus: why?
Tie between the doubles and the wanted posters! I love the way that both of these have let characters (potentially) learn about themselves in weird/kooky/creepy ways. It just adds a whole new layer to the memloss that I am having sooo much fun with!
What event has been the hardest to play on or come up with ideas for?
Like others have said, the standoff one. It just felt too far removed from anything Pal would ICly do, even while being nudged by magical means. That said! I appreciate that it was easy to just...not do it. And I have played other characters in other games that would have been a great fit for the plot, so I can see its potential, even if it didn't work for me this time.
How does the event structure feel (posting your own logs vs. a standard IC event post), event and mini-event mid-month?
I LOVE that the game has us post our own logs for month-wide events, with a single mini-event post for a more singular event. Tbh this is how it has been done in most of the games I've been in, which I know is unusual. I appreciate that I can just check the IC comm throughout the month and immediately see if people have new open posts/top levels/logs/whatever-you-call-its, instead of having to track an individual month-long event post that gets bigger and bigger as time goes on.
Anything else? I love you guys!! Truly, this game is a balm for my soul. The combo of OOC chill and IC mystery is really a joy.
One thing I've been thinking about: would it be possible to periodically update the FAQ (or another post) with questions that come into event planning posts that aren't event-specific? It would be great to have a one-stop shop for details about the setting or what characters can/can't do (and would also, hopefully, stop you from having to answer the same questions multiple times!)
