[Ruby doesn't know what happened herself- She looks back and sees the trail of rose petals leading back to the beast as it starts moving itself.

She quickly starts to scramble to her feat and debates running, but before she does she glances back to Cecelia and-

Well she can't just leave her. Odds are if she sticks around Ruby for too long she'll get hurt, but- that's better than dying right now. Right?

So despite her shaking hands she reaches down and does her best to try and lift Cecelia back up to her feet and pull her along.]
