[being led seems to be far easier than just stepping out on her own, especially when the leader isn't some eerily affable stranger. the lack of innate worry about things certainly goes a long way to making her movements more confident and assured in Darin's guidance, and that proves true in how quickly she catches on to the intention to turn again. she does, far more in tune with the music and far looser than the sheepish start.
