Jon Sims is a scrawny, scarred-up, paranoid little paranormal researcher. He's also a powerful monster who feeds on the fear and trauma of sapient beings! He doesn't know the second part yet.
If your character can vibe check the supernatural, his vibes are extremely bad: roughly translated, he's the living eye of an evil god. This means he's very good at 1. knowing all your secrets and 2. psychically torturing other PCs for sustenance. This will be distressing for him to find out. If either of these things interest you, please reply to his permissions!
CR you're interested in: Everything! Fellow nerds and self-sacrificing idiots, people to feed on, people who'll kick his ass for it, fellow guilt-ridden monsters. CR you're not interested in: None! His canon love interest is apping in alongside him, though, so crosscanon ships won't be endgame.
General ideas or plans for the month: He'll be frantically gathering information at every opportunity! I'd love for him to accidentally feed on someone within the first month: he'll try to drag a traumatic major memory (or jamjar moment) from a victim's mind. He can always be slapped out of this by a third party before it does lasting damage!
Event ideas:
- He's not aware yet, but he rapid-heals from damage, which means he'll last a horrifyingly long time in the cholla patch. Please rescue the sad scrawny monster nerd.
- He can suffer the sudden intimacy effects! He's 1. sex-averse ace and only vaguely aware of this, so any horny angle will awkwardly fizzle out; 2. uptight and paranoid as hell, so any emotionally profound angle will be painfully stilted; and 3. all pointy elbows, so he cuddles like an underfed cat. I'm sorry.
- The flowers that puppet your body are triggering as hell for his one retained major memory. Phenomenal. If you want to see him rattled and upset, and maybe unlock some backstory, this is a great angle.
