If your character is someone who would usually know how to speak to ghosts, seance style, could they get any reaction out of them here? This is a skill that Pal would be trying to re-learn, so he's not likely going to very good at it, but if there were faint responses, I'd like to add it to the things he's practicing!

If you sniff the prickly pear flower and start heading towards the cacti, would other people get the idea that something was up? What happens if they they try to interact with you? Basically, does your body walk straight to the cacti like a robot, or do you act otherwise normally while having a clear destination in mind?
