Issue 1.3, Wellstone, Middle of Nowhere
Welcome to the Wellstone Post! We'll be sending one of these toward the end of each month with OOC updates and hints for the next month.

Something important to consider this month: your mods are moving! We’re packing up on April 24th. Please excuse our dust and slowness and feel free to ping Jordan at interplanetary or in the game discord if you need something answered quickly.

If you’re interested, join the game discord! It’s a good chill time.

Calendar

Things are looking a bit wild this month, so we’re doing this early! We’re midway through a very intense April, and May is going to be chiller. Entering month four, we’re looking at:

1.3: April
April 24th-ish: TDM
April 26th: Apps open
April 26th-30th: AC

2.1: May
1st: Cycle 2 begins, event plotting
15th: Mini-event
26th: Apps open, Wellstone Post: June goes live

Don’t forget to fill out your activity check! We aren’t looking for perfection, just an indication that you’re around and generally tagging. We know life happens. Life is happening to us!

Since this upcoming round will be the first app round of a new cycle, everyone in the game has 1 invite for all of Cycle 2, to be used in the April or May app rounds. Invite your friends!

STATE OF THE GAME & FEEDBACK

First, thank you all for three really wild and fun months! It’s been a blast to run this little game so far. We can’t wait to see what y’all get up to in the future. To that end, we’re looking to collect a little feedback. If you’d like to weigh in, please use the form below and comment with your thoughts.

We’re trying stuff, throwing things at the wall, and making things up as we go along, and this kind of feedback really helps us in terms of knowing what is fun for y’all and what you’d like this game to look like. We may be your mods, but we’re also Just Two Little Guys™️, and this show is really all for you. We crave feedback like your characters crave knowledge about their real selves.

One thing we’re particularly interested in is game size, so even if you don’t have thoughts for the other questions, feel free to just answer that one!

And now, the weather

Compared to April, May will be downright balmy. While the heat will still be pretty intense during the day, nights will be cool and breezy and full of the sounds of crickets and birds. Small, fluffy white clouds float on the horizon during the day. The cacti will begin to bloom in a rainbow of wonderful flower colors. It seems that the desert is springing to life. All in all, it's a perfectly beautiful month!

Too bad the pool is broken again.

The desert lights will be particularly active in May. Some nights they’re bright enough to rival the full moon, and they certainly outshine the stars.
