Would love to say Dax has been regularly going with Flynn for runs after their breakfast chat abut it!

Also: Dax doesn’t do swords, and this is a kind-of ‘not a secret but she’ll never bring it up on purpose because she doesn’t like violence’ secret only Pal and Camilla know about ICly, but she can spar hand-to-hand / wrestle! I can imagine this coming up eventually… potential bonding thing… step 7 in the therapy plan or something smh

they are absolutely morning run buddies now! Is Dax a talker while she runs or is she focused? I think it's one of the few times Flynn actually focuses hard and doesn't chat, although afterwards he has a lot to say

also, hell yeah Dax, wrestling for sport and exercise instead of violence is also powerful and something they should definitely do eventually, like a way to work off all the tension of Jamjar Existing. Flynn does a lot of this now too because he lost his sword skills in fact!!

Dax is a mixed bag! If Flynn is quiet, she'll end up being quiet too, but there will absolutely be times where she'll be having an anxious morning and keep trying to bait answers even if he never responds.

also, what sorts of things does Dax mostly like to chat about afterwards? I think generally, she'd know at this point that Flynn
-is / was a pretty high-ranking official and also a literal fantasy knight
-grew up pretty poor
-loves to clean for fun and not at all for profit lmao

Yooooou know what, I am setting Dax up for an arc of thinking that the memories they have in Wellstone can be faked... I think her current 'it's a possibility, if this is a big memory experiment it would be a plausible variable, but we have no actual evidence' line of thought is something she would absolutely be talking to Flynn about one on one like this (as long as it the idea doesn't freak him out - she'd drop this immediately if it did!)

would entail telling Flynn:

- about Olympia's comments that they could be being lied to, such as about their crimes in the wanted posters (and a note not to repeat it to Olympia, who had seemed very spooked about the idea)
- not understanding how they can be watching, but not remembering, their memories
- her related theories that their memories were basically pulled out of their brains and are being projected. (she explained in this tag)

otherwise:

- she was a captain of a starship and they were at war
- almost all of her memories are related to being on space stations or starships. she'd be really interested to compare notes on what he can remember about being planet-side!
- she's going to explain joining to him in our current thread, and she's super open about everything she knows about this, so he can know whatever here

Oh my god not only does the idea not freak him out, he's had versions of this very thought and would be VERY interested to hear the evidence for this theory!! If you're game that would actually be fun to thread out sometime because he has Thoughts and Ideas re: that

he's also gonna absolutely fascinated at the idea that she lives in space, which is not at ALL a possibility in his world. completely out there as far as he's concerned but he loves the stars and will have 1 million questions over the course of this CR I guarantee you that!!

YES yes yes I'd love to thread this, let's do something in 4.2!! We can say she's waiting to get to know him a little better before bringing it up (she hasn't mentioned this to anyone yet)? Maybe during post-running chat, but I'll wait to pitch a scenario until the 4.2 prompts drop
