:O! He would love that, honestly. He's missing so much that any time he's curious about a thing he wants to just absorb stuff about it to fill in the perceived gap. He will never master any particular thing, but he's curious and nosy.

He definitely wouldn't think less of her for it though. If anything he'd be kind of concerned? I don't think he fully realized they can forget things again now that they're in Well. Not pity exactly but like a genuine "oh, that really sucks :(" as though it's something that could have happened to anyone but just happened to happen to her.

He unironically uses "gnarly" as a compliment, so I think anything can be a swear if he applies himself. Also he had no idea celestial was even a language!

Also I just really enjoy that part of why their CR works so well is that Ryan is so willing to try things and learn stuff because he doesn't remember any of the baggage he had from enduring a standard education. He doesn't remember that he grew up being treated like he was stupid! So even though he approaches her like a goofy goofball, he's always like genuinely curious and willing to ask questions (even when they're weird) and she doesn't have reason to treat him like he's too dumb to understand. It's a nice dynamic they wouldn't have somewhere else!

I AGREE!! cece doesn't have as much baggage about judging people's demeanors toward her so she can take what's given her face value without suspicion - good for their dynamic c: she may not be as loose and relaxed as him, but just being around him by proxy does the job
