Player intro: Hello hello! I've been roleplaying for over a decade now on Tumblr and Discord, but aside from a three-week game my lovely wife hosted last year, this is my first serious foray into DWRP. (Shout-out to Nat for beibg much cooler than me and guiding me through every step of the setup like a very excitable puppy going on its first walk.) I'm thrilled to be here and can't wait to inflict my emotionally constipated, murderous failson on you all.

Character Name: Light Yagami
Canon: Death Note
Vibes: He's a charming, self-confident guy: easy to talk to, easy to get along with. His internal monologues, however, are far more calculating and judgmental than his exterior suggests. Talk to him about any serious subject in depth, and you may start to notice some worrying opinions...but that's normal for a teenager, right? Come closer, it's probably fine.
As far as clothing goes, his looks are modeled after Gary Cooper in High Noon: button down, vest, pants, black Stetson hat. You can tell this kid is a prep. If there's any symbolism to the fact he's wearing a black hat, it sure hasn't occurred to him.
Memories: He remembers two main things: that he's a normal college student with normal interests like dating and sports, and that he's a killed a man and needs to watch his back. The incongruity of these memories (and the fact he has no context for who he killed or why) is going to drive him absolutely nuts.
Initial Plans: You can take the boy out of the detective plot, but you can't take the detective plot out of the boy. Once he's settled in, he'll be full of questions and keen to investigate the mysteries of his new zoo enclosure.
