Back by popular demand: handwaved CR! What is your character up to outside of the horrors? How do they persist? Use this form to brainstorm how you're characters have been vibing on the day-to-day!
There are some suggested questions, answer as many or as few as you'd like:

What do they usually wear? Western or renaissance fair? Lots of fringe or puffy pants? All black or all sequined?
Where they hang out: Are they a parlor guy or a diner girlie? What gendered changing room do they gravitate toward at the baths?
Activities they often do: Do they wake at the crack of dawn to do a cute little run? Do they prefer to inventory the general store on the daily?
What they're like at mealtimes: Can you talk to them before they've had their coffee? Do they make horrific food based choices?
Does your character read the books? Which ones? Do they share the books? Self-help, or romance? Do they dogear the sex parts?
What do they do at night? Do they all hang out in the parlor? Do their drink the night away? Do they lurk in the shadows?
Is there anything unusual about them? Do they sleep somewhere other than the Staywell? Do they have a particular scent or appearance that might be off-putting? Are they just way too friendly?
What their current vibe is: Are they happy? Sad? Are you tormenting them with an awful, drawn out character arc?
What CR are you interested in: Low-key pals? Sparring buddies? Do they have a passive aggressive post-it based relationship?

Character Name: Flynn Scifo

What do they usually wear? Largely medieval-style tunics & linen shirts, but with a lot of jeans. He loves jeans. He is almost always wearing blue jeans & cowboy boots. Also, when it's sunny, a cowboy hat. Also usually wearing some cleaned-up salvaged bits of armor.

Where they hang out: Around the Staywell quite a bit! He can be found in the courtyard / garden area training, and also spends a lot of time out at the tavern and in the woods!

Activities they often do: Every morning he runs and tries to bully folks into running with him (sound off if you're in running club!), then training with his sword in the courtyard (and teaching anyone who wants to learn), lots of note-taking about NPCs and inventory, hanging out with Yuri while he cooks things, reading books in his room with Yuri or the parlor, cleaning. Despite a robust invisible cleaning staff he definitely sweeps the entry hall and walkway outside.

What they're like at mealtimes: So chatty. SO chatty, please talk to him. He'll invite folks to sit with him if they look like they want company, or sit down next to you like a friendly dog. He loves to ask questions about food and books and memories.

Does your character read the books? Which ones? Do they share the books? He does read the books, every single one for lack of anything better to do, and would love to talk about them to anyone else who's read them. Very conscientious about sharing, leaves them in the parlor with sticky notes saying whether or not he recommends reading them.

What do they do at night? Depends! He hangs out with Yuri some nights but most of the time can be found in the parlor or wherever a plurality of people are, being social and hanging out. Please teach him some games, he is so competitive, he needs them to live.

Is there anything unusual about them? Usually he is with Yuri and also almost always carrying a sword.

What their current vibe is: You know those scenes in media where the protag gets a partner and promptly radiates sunshine and little birds everywhere? That's Flynn at the moment. Are things tense and weird and bad? always! but he has a boyfriend and that boyfriend is his best friend and he's THRILLED about it, so he's honestly pretty sickeningly happy.

What CR are you interested in:
-teach Flynn how to play some games!
-weird CR! He has a deeply weird thing going on with John and it's complicating his CR with a bunch of folks and I LOVE it, if anyone is like morally grey and strange, hit me up
-folks who have a Thing about authority and power. delightful

Of course Jaune is still running with Flynn. It's a critical anchor to the whole day! Gets the blood pumping! Starts you off right!

That means, handwaved CR-wise, that he probably hangs out with Dax quite a bit too! god I think we've talked about this but like, how's Jaune's chatting-level during runs? I feel like Flynn talks a lot before and after and gets kind of focused in the middle.

Also I bet they really do train together a lot and Flynn has a lot of mysterious bruises about it

I think we have but who knows where: Jaune also would be chatty before and after but not during, since that's focus time. In general he doesn't do a lot of bantering during training activities because he's taking it very seriously! (He's also shy around Dax but no one mention that or he'll perish.)

The bruises...of friendship. Jaune actually thinks of his that way. Being a pal means smacking the hell out of each other. I also feel like if he ever actually hurt Flynn too much though he switches to fussing and using his healing power on him IMMEDIATELY.

Not scarred but definitely impressed him with being Too Cool and Worldly for the likes of him...Dax knows things about romance. She can sense he's a dork. Realizing that Jaune thinks Dax is legitimately cool. We should do something when you return from the murdergame frontlines...

And yeah he'd die if they went to the baths together. Melt away into but a foam...

No it's so true though, the more they are bruised the closer they are as friends it's the rule. He keeps track of which ones are from Yuri (affectionate and good) and which are from Jaune and DEF heals him with his weird little prayer-spell too........... such bros. You know every time Flynn gets really hurt he at first tried to power through but now?? I think he trusts Jaune enough to like, actually call a halt and fix it. TRUE FRIENDSHIP....

Good, because otherwise Jaune would be INSUFFERABLE about it. Why does he even have this power if not to help!!

Wolfwood and Flynn pass each other on their ways to unnecessarily sweep things like "same broom!" "same broom!"

should you want to thread about it someday, Flynn's been starting to make his own brooms for lack of literally anything else to do and he would definitely eventually come up to his distant cleaning buddy like hey. Can you test this for me. Does it sweep good.
