Ryan is going to spend a lot of time patiently trying to talk to the waiter, probably at least once a day/every other day, unless another event thing is happening. Often these trips will include his boyfriend Min-Gi, but sometimes he'll be on his own too.

Noticeably, he won't touch him. He'll actually flinch if the waiter comes a little too close. If the waiter keeps any memories from cycle to cycle, he might remember Ryan being infected last cycle, and how part of his daily loop was eventually greeting the waiter. He's free of the loop now and doesn't want to be zombified again, but he wants to help. If that's what's going on with the waiter, there has to be some way to break him out of it, right?

Of course, Ryan has no idea how to actually do that. So he'll try his best to make conversation and try to ask the waiter how he's doing today, is there anything he can do? Sometimes he'll just try and talk at him about things, like he's trying to reach a person in there - tell him what the weather's like or what weird shit he saw in the general story today. Maybe something will come up at some point that might actually be useful.

Since he's only serving pie, Ryan will make a point to bring the poor guy a coffee or something now and then, even if he winds up not being able to drink it.
