If a character is killed and sent to the catacombs, do they remain there for the rest of the month? And if they can come back, will it just feel like they have been magically zapped back to their beds, or will something else happen?

If a character is in the catacombs at the end of the month, does anything in particular happen to them? And even before that, do they experience the earthquakes at all?
