Character Name: makoto naegi
Canon: dangan ronpa (that murder school place that's great for kids)

Vibes: makoto's a short, not very built teen in a white, long-sleeved shirt (cuffs rolled up), a dark vest, brown chaps and some surprisngly comfy classic cowboy boots. he also has a little red necktie/scarf because i think it's adorable. he does have a hat but thought it was a little much so he leaves it in his room (but he doesn't think the scarf is too much???? okay)

Memories: he remembers that he has a family (parents and a sister), remembers their names, but doesn't know much more than that about them. he also remembers his worst day ever, so he thinks of himself as pretty unlucky. though he also remembers getting his letter for hope's peak, that's as far as his memory of the school goes. also, just like in the 1st DR game, he believes that he's 16 and still in the midst of high school (especially since, as far as he knows, he hasn't even attended hope's peak yet). that doesn't really mean much since the difference between 16 and 18 for him is negligible... he's still very, very short.

he also still has his keen intellect, which just means he's good at spotting things that Don't Make Sense, which will attract his curiosity.

Initial Plans: because he's missing his traumatic memories of his time at hope's peak, he is more like how he acted during his worst day ever—timid, not usually prone to doing things out of the ordinary, just trying not to make waves and go with the flow. of course, when he notices things are weird he'll be naturally inclined to see what's up—but unless he meets some outgoing, detective/intellectual-type people to draw out his innate problem-solving side, he'll most likely try to stay in denial about most stuff... unless he gets put in danger or something overt like that. then he may spring into action without even thinking about it, like he did on his worst day, when he was faced with danger.

Welcome to the game and welcome back to DWRP! I hope it's been a blast so far, I know it was so fun for me to dip my toes back in and learn all the new ways of doing things! I'm Jordan and I play Flynn Scifo here from an old old Tales game and I would love to see the things you draw!

i actually played a tiny bit of the tales game he's from!! but my main one was abyss (my u/n on many sites is actually eggbears.....) so ofc when i saw flynn for the first time in tov i was like... guy????????? LKFHDSLK i was also a v big asbel simp.... u_u

I DONT HAVE MANY FINISHED DRAWINGS bc i am a perpetual sketch-not-finisher.... and i dont have many recent ones.... but i do have this among us OC i drew back in 2020???? and today i was showing a newer artist how i do harrowing expressions on characters.... so theres some samples... I HOPE TO MAYBE DRAW WELL STUFF or at least makoto in his cute lil western outfit aaaaa

but HAHAHA I had the honor of getting to play him against a Jade for a little while and Jade fully thought he was Guy at first too, it was so powerful, we love Abyss 'round these parts AND ALSO

AHHH your work is so good!!!! I LOVE those expressions... that's one thing I'm always working to improve and it's so so impressive to see folks who really have it nailed, love these so much!!
