Player intro: Heyyyyy gamers! I'm cel and I'm gonna be bringing Emerald Sustrai from RWBY into this game. For those unfamiliar, she's basically Aladdin but if Aladdin were a codependent lesbian with self-worth issues. On my own time, I work with spreadsheets and play an unconscionable amount of video games. Currently, I'm playing through the Final Fantasy series for the first time, since FF14 has thrown enough references at me for me to be like "all right, let's see what this stuff is about". I'm also knee deep in Honkai Star Rail, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and everything Project Moon makes. I'm also an occasional musician but that's just a side thing.

Character Name: Emerald Sustrai
Canon: RWBY
Vibes: Please imagine Emerald dressing almost exactly like this the entire time she's here. Her canon outfit is already pretty close to a western aesthetic, so dolling her up in a cowboy hat and letting her hair down like this is an easy leap to make. Without a healthy chunk of her memories, she's a much more helpful, pleasant, and trusting person to be around, and while she can still be a little smart-mouthed, she's not trying to push everybody away to protect herself.
Memories: So Emerald remembers a little bit of her childhood, growing up on the backstreets of Vacuo and learning that the world can be rough. She remembers that she was apparently in a bad enough state to need to be saved not once but twice, first by Cinder Fall and then by someone she can't quite put a finger on, from someone she can't quite put a finger on. There's a black void hovering in the back of her mind and she has no idea what to call it, but she's terrified of focusing on it for too long. (This is the relationship core for Salem, the big bad of RWBY and one of the top two causes of emotional pain in her life.)
Initial Plans: In a sense, Emerald's viewing a lot of her life as a second or third chance right now, though she probably won't put it in quite those words if pressed. She's not eager to figure out everything she's missing just because of how frightening the unknown spectre of Salem is, and honestly, everything kind of seems okay so far. Sure, there's a plague of eyes and whatever, but if she can figure out how to handle that then she'll be golden. What I'm saying is that right now, she's just trying to get settled and weigh her options on whether it's worth remembering more about who she used to be.

Initial Plans: Mostly? Athena is equipped with a lot more tools and is going to feel blind without them... in part because they literally are. Add that to the constant chatter and a forgotten case of ADHD, Athena is going to be an uncertain and anxious duck who is trying to compensate by being Very Efficient and Gathering Information.
